Fuel Tank Specification
• Structure: UPN Sub frame chassis of Grade ST-44 with welded cross-members
• Shell: Double-D section, shell and dish end of MS Plate ST-44 and 5mm thickness
• Catwalk: G.I. Gratings steel on both sides along the manholes on top of tanker with 800mm height of Aluminium hollow section
foldable handrail on both side of tank valence.
• Valance : closed valence on tank top with vapour pipe routed through main tank up to cabinet box
• Manhole: Ø500mm steel bolted manhole with pressure relief valve, vapour recovery and sensor
• Bottom Emergency Valve: 4’’ pneumatically operated
• Discharge Valve: Aluminium API 4’’ with lever, sight glass and dust cap
• Vapour recovery System including 3’’ pneumatic vapour return valve, vapour recovery adapter with pneumatic interlock, sight glass
and cap. Rubber hose with plain coupling
• Overfill sensor: 12’’ length probe optic system, 5-wire with optic socket & Earthing Probe
• Function Cabinet: Located at the right-hand side and suitable to protect all API valves. Pneumatically operated guard bar . Pneumatic
control unit for 3 compartments
• Hose cabinet: Two units 3.5m long each with lock on both sides of tanker suitable for 4’’ hoses
• Discharge Hose: 2 units 3m long each Nitrile hose with Camlock male and female couplings on either side of hoses.
• Emergency stop are provided at rear and at kerb side.
• Vapour recovery hose: ONE unit
• All gaskets are suitable for fuel.
• Dipstick for each compartment Reducer coupling
• External : Grit blasted to SA2.5, one coat of Epoxy primer followed by two coats of polyurethane white paint RAL 9016 with red strip.
• Internal : Grit blasted to SA2.5 Two coat of epoxy coating system suitable for Jet A1
